The
Independence Civic Club who were the sponsors wish to thank
the supporters and volunteers who helped make the July 4th
10K and 4K Runs a runners' success. The net proceeds were donated
to the Friends of the Eastern California Museum to help with
the restoration of the historic Commander's House.
Thanks
to the Inyo County Road Department for markers and safety equipment
and to the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power for their generosity
in providing a unique place to run.
