Derby notes:
The Grand Prize was awarded to Wally Voogt. He won a complimentary Two Night Stay at the Crown Plaza San Diego Hotel.

A Berkley representative was on hand to answer questions and to insure all the kids went home with a prize.

Other prizes including fishing equipment, Berkely hats and Alpers hats were awarded. Every child who weighed-in a fish received a prize!

The Friends of the Mt. Whitney Fish Hatchery made many friends with hot dogs and hamburgers and all the trimmings.
